Patani was born in an Indian family in the state of Uttarakhand. Her father serves as a Policeman and her mother is a Health Inspector. Patani’s sister is a lieutenant in the Indian Armed Force. She pursued B.Tech in Computer Engineering from Amity University but dropped out for acting.
Patani’s debut movie was a South Indian Telugu movie named “Loafer” in 2015. She worked with the actor Varun Tej in the movie. However, it was a complete disaster in the box office and she didn’t continue in South anymore. Her biggest break came the very next year when she offered the role in the movie “M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story”. She played the girlfriend of M.S. Dhoni, who died in a tragic car accident.
Patani has so far acted in movies like “Baghi 2”, another magnanimous Bollywood success, “Bharat”, “Malang” etc. In a very short period, Patani has achieved a lot of success and made herself a name in the huge industry of Bollywood.
