A former Victoria’s Secret Angel accepted a beachside marriage proposal from an Australian jewellery designer at a luxury Indonesian resort.
International supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio is officially off the market after accepting a romantic beachside proposal from her Australian boyfriend, jewellery designer Buck Palmer.
The 45-year-old former Victoria’s Secret Angel announced the news on Instagram, sharing aerial drone footage and photos of the couple embracing on a sun-drenched beach inside a massive heart made of flower petals in the sand.
“I’d choose you in this life and every life. Here’s to forever, my love,” Ambrosio captioned the post with the ring emoji.
The proposal
The proposal seemed to be very private but thoughtful, with rose petals shaped in a love heart laid out on the sand.
Mr Palmer, who hails from Australia and now runs his eponymous men’s accessories label out of Venice Beach, California, popped the question right by the shore.
Ambrosio was wearing a tiny little white and brown knitted bikini while accepting the proposal at NIHI Sumba, which is a world-renowned luxury resort located on Sumba Island in Indonesia, which is famous for its pristine beachfront.
The duo were first linked in late 2024 after stepping out together at an Art Basel event in Miami, before making things Instagram official during a holiday trip to Brazil.

Who Is Alessandra Ambrosio?
Born in Erechim, Brazil, Ambrosio is widely regarded as one of the most successful supermodels of all time.
She rose to global fame as one of Victoria’s Secret’s signature ‘Angels’, walking the brand’s iconic fashion show runway every year from 2000 until 2017.
She was also chosen as the very first spokesmodel for the company’s PINK line in 2004 and made history by walking the runway just three months after giving birth to her first child.

Who is Buck Palmer?
Before establishing himself as a celebrity-favourite artisan — creating rugged, sterling-silver and turquoise pieces ‘made and worn by the maverick’ — Mr Palmer worked as a model and meditation instructor.
This won’t be the first high-profile romance for the Aussie designer.

He was previously married to Australian model Ashley Hart, the sister of former Victoria’s Secret runway star Jessica Hart.
The pair eloped in 2015 before parting ways in 2017.
Ambrosio was previously engaged to American businessman Jamie Mazur for 10 years before the couple split in 2018.
They share two children together, daughter Anja, age 17, and son Noah, age 14.
Insiders reveal Mr Palmer has already earned the seal of approval from both teenagers after spending quality time together on coastal family trips.
With a massive diamond ring now on her finger, the Brazilian icon is gearing up to walk down the aisle for the very first time.
